This was a gorgeous spot to experience the best of rustic France! The fete was an amazing experience for those of us who love to party til late, but during the rest of the year you couldn't find a more tranquil spot for some 'me' time. The property is ideal for friends or couples to share quality time together. The village is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside, and we drove to the beaches on the south coast in just an hour or two. I really felt I'd been properly away after just a couple of days at this lovely house. Emma, Herts

A fabulous place to go and holiday, once discovered you'll want to keep going back again and again!  A typically "lazy" French village surrounded by vineyards, but still having the essential small shops you need to buy all the essentials.  There's even a local bar which is fabulous for chilling out and relaxing with the locals, who are all incredibly friendly and warm.  I've been going there for quite a few years, both when my son and daughter were small, and again when they were much older, and each time we've all fallen in love with the house and village all over again!  There are some beautiful walks and scenery, and close by are various lakes you can simply just dive in and enjoy.  If you're an artist or photographer, you'll be in seventh heaven, as the surrounding views are breathtaking!  GD, Surrey

We have spent many lovely holidays here as a family and also as a couple.  The house is quaint, comfortable and has everything you need.  The village is friendly and during the summer months sitting outside can turn into a lovely social occasion!  Not far to drive to the miles of sandy beaches, or magnificent historical sites, there are so many places of interest for everyone and all age groups.  Fab weather usually right into October.  Looking forward to our next trip and would recommend to anyone who wants to explore this stunning location. Have stayed here previously, and it has been never been anything but perfect and pleasant. Gorgeous area, friendly locals, and the house is divine and so peaceful - a wonderful place to stay, whether you're travelling alone or on a family holiday. Highly recommend - AmyH, Surrey

If you're looking for a quiet retreat, surrounded by the beautiful French countryside you could not go wrong staying here, its a quaint little house but so beautiful. With stunning scenery and lots of exploring to do staying here is perfect. It would help if you spoke French as it is certainly not a typical tourist destination which is perfect for those looking to see the real France.  An hour in any direction and you will see massive changes, from mountainsides and rivers, with castle ruins from the Napoleonic war to vibrant and beautiful towns, the beach and not that far from the Spanish border. I would definitely return here.  Carl, London
